When the GG&G New Product Development Team looked at the Trijicon ACOG 4x32 series scopes, they decided it was missing a very important and long overlooked component-FLIP UP LENS COVERS designed to protect the expensive lenses of this great scope. None were available, so they invented a set. The GG&G Accucam ACOG Quick Detach Mount with Integral Lens Covers combines the proven repeatability of the Accucam QD Mount, with easy to operate Flip Up Lens Covers. The GG&G front and rear lens cover adapters allow the mounting of GG&G custom prepared Butler Creek lens covers that provide weatherproof, dust proof, and moisture proof protection to the ACOG lenses. Two versions are available. One model fits the TA01, TA31, TA31F, and TA31RCO, and a second model is specifically for the TA01NSN. The design is unique enough that a Patent is pending, but simple enough that installation is quick and easy. The GG&G Accucam ACOG Quick Detach Mount with Integral Lens Covers provides a solid method to quickly install or remove the scope from the weapon. The Accucam Mount allows the optics to be quickly installed on a dovetail rail in mere seconds by simply rotating the Accucam Lever to the locked position, and can just as quickly be removed by rotating the Lever to the unlocked position. Unlike other QD systems the Accucam is fully adjustable to fit both Weaver and MIL-STD-1913 dovetails, even those that are worn or out of spec.
