Ferguson Safety Products presents THE PETT with Contraband Recovery Units (CRU), transparent waste bags allowing officers to inspect inmate wastes without having to glove up and sift through them by hand. CRU's have decay catalyst gelling powder that speeds the breakdown of solids and the EPA approves tossing the CRU's into landfills. Squeeze contraband to the top, remove it, seal the bag up and toss into a dumpster. The powder does not breakdown baggies, condoms or balloons containing contraband. CRU's fit on any standard toilets. The PETT also provides bathroom facilities during natural disasters.
