"Featuring more than 20 independent yet highly integrated modules, Tiburon LawRECORDS provides the foundation to collect, manage and automate a department’s records information," says Jean Schommer, marketing director for the Pleasanton, California, company.
The various modules enable law enforcement end-users to create detailed incident, persons and vehicle records from any data entry point, such as a CAD system, field/vehicle laptop or the records department, says Schommer. Information disseminates automatically throughout the modules to create a complete incident composite and can be readily accessed through central databases such as MNI and MLI.
By employing emerging law enforcement XML standards and a Web-based user interface, LawRECORDS provides enhanced interoperability between agencies, facilitating communication and information sharing, and helping agencies to solve crimes and track suspects that cross through various jurisdictions. With appropriate interfaces in place, the product can query across multiple databases. An extensive selection of standard reports and inquiries is available as well as the ability to create ad hoc queries and custom reports. An integrated link analysis capability maps how people, events, vehicles, locations and other case details are related, allowing for the detection of underlying patterns.
