OC FIRST AID

Aug. 20, 2007
The physiological effects of pepper spray (OC) are intense and its residue must be cleaned following its application. In order to decontaminate a subject water is usually used to flush the affected areas. Sufficient source of water however may not be immediately available and the chemical composition of chili peppers and oily resins are not water soluble and therefore water has no effect on its breakdown. ZARC has developed a new formulation, OC First Aid, that completely breaks down and destroys the OC ingredient on contact.
