    The PATRIOT is a state-of-the-art land-based, hybrid life support system. This hybrid SCBA system delivers blower assisted filtered air or open circuit breathing gas in one integrated system. Adaptable to any chemical mask, the PATRIOT can be worn externally on Level 1 containment suits, simplifying the decontamination and recharging process. Accomodating both large (285 cubic inches) and small (122 cubic ines) carbon fiber cylinders, the PATRIOT, from Wilcox Industries, has been tested and approved to operate in NBC-contaminated environments by the U.S. Department of Defense.
