Toshiba Digital Solutions offer an upgrade to its security video portfolio with the introduction of three flat-panel LCD monitors that ideally compliment high-resolution color cameras and digital video recorders. The monitors are available with viewable 15-inch, 17-inch or 19-inch TFT active matrix LCD panels with up to 500:1 contrast ratio and delivering up to 1280x1024 pixels, one of the highest resolutions for monitors of these sizes. Fluorescent backlighting maintains its powerful 250-nit brightness over time, preventing the degradation experienced with aging CRT-type monitors.
