SunGard adds Link Analysis to its OSSI Public Safety Software Solutions Suite. This tool helps users solve crimes more quickly by finding relationships from thousands of isolated data elements at the touch of a button. Link Analysis helps users to prepare a visual representation of involvement data, two-party relationships, court diagrams, and records of events. Users can create an Involvement Diagram, a multi-level involvement illustration starting from one record or an Entity Relationship Diagram, a detailed representation showing if and how two individuals are related. Two diagram styles are available: Symmetrical, which positions the related objects around each entity; or Hierarchical, which resembles an organizational chart layout.
