Sun Ridge Systems released of the newest version of its public safety software, RIMS Version 18. RIMS 18 adds 87 new features and functions to the RIMS software package, refining andexpanding upon 29 years of continual development.
Some of the RIMS enhancements stem from new technology, but as part of on-going product improvement and development, the majority of RIMS upgrades come directly through feedback from the user community.
Continuing in this tradition, among the new RIMS CAD and Records Managementfeatures are:
- Greater facility for displaying multiple persons, incidents, vehicles, etc.,simultaneously
- 34 records management enhancements
- 8 enhancements to RIMS ad hoc reporting
- 5 enhancements to make state/NCIC queries even quicker and easier to do, and tointegrate the returns into RIMS CAD files
- 13 new features in RIMS Collaborate, our data sharing software
Besides the RIMS CAD and records management base product, the other products in thesuite of RIMS products also have their own enhancement lists implemented.
RIMS customers subscribing to the RIMS Support and Update Program automaticallyreceive RIMS 18 at no additional charge. It is user installable, requiring less than 30minutes.
