The heart of the Spillman system lies in the Integrated Hub, a central database where all information is stored in one location, creating data flow between the different departments of an agency. Integrated Hub stores the master names, vehicles, property, wanted persons, on-call scheduling, resources, dissemination and profiling tables, with a single entry/single inquiry feature to reduce duplicate data entry. By utilizing a central database, information can be accessed from anywhere in the system in real time, improving intra-agency communication.
