SABRE 4000

Smiths Detection introduces the next generation of hand-held trace detectors with the SABRE 4000 - a portable trace detector that can detect threats from explosives, chemical warfare agents, toxic industrial chemicals or narcotics packaged into a small instrument. The SABRE 4000 can analyze either trace vapor or particle samples and can detect and identify over 40 threat substances in approximately 10 seconds. With a large (3 1/2 inch), color TFT display, it is still the a light handheld trace detector, weighing only 5.8 pounds with the two-hour battery. Options include a four-hour battery and a protective cover with shoulder strap.
