VCC-XV400

A super-high resolution (520 TV lines), day/night camera with a varifocal lens and weatherproof housing is available from Sanyo Security Video. The VCC-XV400 CCTV camera captures crisp color images and then switches to black-and-white mode as light decreases. The camera employs IR Cut Filter Removal technology that changes the imager from color to black-and-white in the absence of light. The IR Cut Filter also can be set to manual mode to keep the camera in either color mode or black-and-white mode depending on the application. In addition, employing advanced technology, the camera has high sensitivity with a minimum illumination of .04 lux at F1.4 in B/W mode and 1.2 lux at F1.4 in color mode. The VCC-XV400 integrates the camera, lens, housing and wall-mount hardware in one very compact unit. The weatherproof, protective camera enclosure safely meets the IP66 standard for resistance against debilitating water and dust. No other accessories are needed, just the camera and one other piece of equipment such as a monitor or recorder to view the images. The camera can be installed on a wall, roof, or ceiling, with the included adjustable mount. An optional sunshade will protect the unit from direct sunshine.
