Thermal Poly Urethane (TPU) provides the comfort, durability and support without the penalty of extra weight. Dual Density TPU - the soft foot bed allows the TPU to absorb the shock of walking while the harder TPU wear surface resists abrasion. Redback's Achilles relief feature relives pressure to lower calf when sitting or driving. The wedge design of the sole lowers lower back stress. The Law Enforcement/Biker boot features 30 percent more sole-to-ground contact to improve slip resistance, long lasting leather, 2.5 to 2.7-mm thickn, an anatomic sole and three-layer heel counter reduces foot fatigue, leg pain, backache, and lateral stability, and an air cushioned mid-sole improves shock absorption in the boot, instead of ankles, knees and hips.
