    RAE Systems expands its radiation detection product line with the GammaRAE II Responder. This is one of the first intrinsically safe combined radiation detector and radiation dosimeter in one water-resistant , decontamination-proof unit. The GammaRAE II Repsonder gives first responders the equivalent of both a "radiation speedometer and odometer" in a compact belt-size unit with audio, vibration and flashing LED alarms.
