PolicyGate

PolicyGate, from Patron Systems, integrates email archiving, supervision and data protection into one platform. These mission-critical capabilities extend and enforce departmental policies from the desktop, through email, on storage devices and to recipients. PolicyGate actively compares inbound, outbound and internal email and attachments against a set of customizable law enforcement policies. Based upon the policies definied in a rules database, the software then implements various actions to protect the data or apply other appropriate administrative actions. By combining these vital security components, PolicyGate provides a complete solution to such challenges as: the proper archival of information related to open case files; the protection of case files during email communications; organization of and access and usage controls over large multi-media electronic case files; and the protection of citizen rights.
