K-9 Unit

Following a growing trend for K-9 units built onto sport utility vehicles, the Jersey City Police, New Jersey, chose Odyssey to build their Excursion K-9 Response Unit. The conversion was based on a new Ford Excursion and included a modular aluminum K-9 insert, LED emergency lighting, Odyssey's custom console and lifetime function coded wiring harness system and exterior graphics. For K-9 safety, a temperature alarm and cooling system will lower windows, start a cooling fan and alert the operator so the dogs are protected from overheating on hot summer days.
