    Mountain State University, a regionally accredited institution, has created an online distance learning program with the working law enforcement professional in mind. This program is designed to be as convenient as possible, allowing the program to complement an officer's busy schedule. The core program courses of this completely online criminal justice degree can be completed in as little as 18 months. Officers can transfer up to 80 combined credits from professional training and college transfer credits. (Prior Learning Assessment credits can account for up to 49 percent of the total degree requirements.)
