    ModUcom, provider of digital programmable E911/radio dispatch consoles, has just enhanced its single software application to include distributed network architecture with true interoperability and VOIP. This software enhancement allows customers to share radio channels among several dispatch center systems, which allows dispatchers at one center to communicate directly with dispatchers at other sites. The operator positions consisting of a Windows PC with the UltraCom software can be located in remote locations and can connect to different dispatch center systems.
