The MicroHUD heads-up display combines with a belt-worn mobiel computer for law enforcement applications featuring true virtual image display. The system offers a Microsoft Windows CE.NET mobile operating system, a unique combination of worldwide cellular network wireless data and voice connectivity. This system gives motor officers wireless access to the same CAD and NCIC database information that normally is only available on squad car laptop computers. Motor officers can wirelessly connect to CAD servers to run plates, check unit status and file reports. Incoming or outgoing cellular voice phone calls can also be made using the standard helmet headset without removing the helmet. The battery-operated system, which can flip out of the way when the display is not needed, fits to 1/2 and 3/4 style helmets and baseball caps.
