Exhaust extraction systems

Aug. 20, 2007
MagneGrip exhaust extraction systems remove 100 percent of the toxic gases and particulates released by operating vehicles in firehouses and EM facilities. MagneGrip recently introduced a redesigned nozzle-assembly elbow that makes its systems even more efficient. The aluminum elbow, now five inches in diameter, has a redesigned elbow angle that provides greater airflow efficiency and less static pressure. Five inches is the same dimension as most fire apparatus tailpipes. In addition, MagneGrip's standard, heavy-duty hoses have five-inch diameters. The new elbow design-plus outside air entering through a one-way valve in the nozzle-practically eliminates wear on hoses by hot exhaust emissions.
