The new Lone Wolf U.S.45 tactical folding knife was designed to complement the classic design of the 1911 U.S. 45 ACP pistol. The grip is styled like a 45 ACP semi-automatic pistol and provides a feel instantly recognized along with its clean good looks. The handle is checkered rosewood with the classic U.S. symbol incorporated into its design. Like the classic 45 ACP pistol, this rugged knife will stand up to whatever is thrown at it. The U.S.45 Knife features ambidextrous one handed opening and closing, a stainless steel pocket clip and locking liner for safety. The blade is 3.30 inches long built from 440C series high carbon stainless steel so the U.S.45 is ready to handle whatever challenge it faces. To obtain the maximum edge retention and toughness the blades are heat-treated, tempered and then cryogenically frozen under the tightest process controls possible to ensure the best blade properties. The resulting blade is razor sharp and tough.
