Thermal-Eye 2400xp

L-3 Communications announced today that its Infrared Products division has released its newest dual sensor camera, the Thermal-Eye 2400xp, which unites visible and thermal imaging in one camera. The 2400xp, designed for military, law enforcement, executive security, covert operations, residential and industrial security applications, uses L-3's Gold-Standard thermal imaging technology to detect intruders and protect assets. The camera features solar immunity, which allows it to stare directly into sunlight without the need for filters, so there is no degradation in image quality. The camera monitors the full perimeter in darkness, even in challenging weather conditions, eliminating the need for enhanced light. In addition, the Thermal-Eye 2400xp detects intruders and protects assets with passive, non-intrusive technology.
