Kenwood's TK-5400 is one of the smallest portable transceivers compatible with the Project 25 format for digital communications and the FM mode ensures compatibility with legacy analog systems and system migration. The protected display on top of the radio, which is illuminated for nighttime viewing can be iverted when worn on a belth or chest pack. Users will appreciate the clear, 7-character alphanumeric channel nametags displayed along witht zone-group number, as well as the 2-digit numeric display and 6 operational icons. The TI-5400 provides a full 3W 800 MHz output. Each channel can be individually set to either high (3W) or low (1W) power. Both keypad and non-keypad models are available.
