RADView PD personal dosimeter badge monitors ionizing radiation exposures of emergency response personnel. Utilizing International Specialty Products' (ISP's) proprietary technology, RADView PD personal dosimeter badges are manufactured in the form of a radiation-sensitive plastic film contained within a badge the size of a driver's license. Radiation exposure of the RADView PD dosimeter produces a dye that changes the color of the radiation-sensitive film in proportion to the dose of radiation. The radiation-sensitive film is water resistant and has a radiation dose response that is tissue equivalent and dose-rate equivalent. The badges can monitor exposure for personnel for periods of up to one year.
