Remote Scheduling for SpeedCheck

Aug. 20, 2007
Information Display Co.'s SpeedCheck line of radar speed signs now utilize remote scheduling technology. Using a wireless Palm handheld computer, users can now schedule up to eight functionality changes per day including the time of the sign's operation (on/off) and the speed threshold at which the sign flashes a warning message to passing drivers. The scheduler can also be used to automatically turn on and off the sign's optional traffic data collection feature, which records the date, time and speed of passing vehicles.
