Ideal Supply's bomb suit is designed for protection of personnel in operations involving the handling of unexploded explosive ordnance and improvised explosive devices. Constructed of Aramid ballistic inner fabric and Nomex fire-retardant outer fabric, this suit offers Mil-spec protection from high-velocity fragments associated with the handling of explosive ordnance and devices. When worn properly, this 42-pound suit will provide fragmentation protection to the wearer up to 2,250 fps. The system consists of a coat with sleeves, removeable collar and groin protector, trousers (open back, front protection only), spats (over feet), Kevlar helmet, face shield, and chest plate.
