EnerNOC Demand Response Program

Aug. 20, 2007
By participating in no-cost Demand Response programs with EnerNOC, Inc., facility managers and other energy stakeholders in the corrections industry can earn revenue from the electricity they don't consume instead of paying for what they do. Demand Response is a voluntary reduction of electricity demand in response to high wholesale electricity prices or grid instability. Through curtailment (e.g. turning off lights) or self-generation (e.g. turning on backup generators) correctional facilities can receive substantial financial incentives for program participation.
