The new Pac Ex 2 is a compact and rugged hand-held, combustible gas and oxygen monitoring device. The instrument from Draeger Safety Inc., is simple and easy to operate with features including a clear, fully functional LCD concenration display with audibile, visual and vibrating alarms to provide personal protection. An applicaiton of the Pac Ex 2 monitor is the ability to measure combustible gases in teh 0-to-100 percent LEL range, and the range of 0-to-25 percent volume oxygen. The new unit holds an exta long battery life, lasting over 12 hours between charges and the rugged, RFI-protected housing guards agaisnt the environment.
