Enterprise Notification Solution (ENS), an application developed by Deloitte and Oracle technology, helps law enforcement agencies address organizational communication challenges. ENS allows fast, efficient dissemination of critical information to officers conducting investigations or surveillance activities in the field. The application enables officers to send time-sensitive notifications regarding an investigation to virtually any device phone, pager, PDA, e-mail, Blackberry, SMS/MMS or fax improving investigators' response time. In addition, ENS features automatic fail-over, issuing notices to users in the field according to their preferences first phone, then PDA, then e-mail, for example.
