Event Manager is a comprehensive-tracking solution utilizing bar code badges/labels and handheld terminals, allowing for onsite, real time management of personnel and assets. Event Manager provides a key factor in managing an event scene: the positive ID onsite of who's in, who's out, where they are, and how long they've been there. Scene commanders now have the tools they need for assignment, tracking and accountability of both professional and trained volunteers. By having up-to-date inventory of responders, their contact information, qualifications/skill sets, and assets, both those in inventory and those that are attainable, scene commanders can make the best utilization of responders and assets at an event.
