CompassTracker

CompassCom Inc. has released CompassTracker, a mobile resource management application that can be loaded on many wireless communications devices to provide real-time asset tracking capabilities. Communicating via wireless technology, CompassTracker operates on numerous standard laptops, PDAs and location-enabled handsets to track the position, speed, heading and status of mobile assets. It features user-enabled or automatic operation on start-up. These features provide reduced over-the-air voice traffic, rapid/mass deployment, dispatching of mobile assets to sites based on true location and status, enhanced data collection for training exercises, and contract compliance monitoring.
