The Colby BDS Biometric Data Safe is a portable device used for storing sensitive data that is available up to 8 GB. If the device is lost or stolen, it is impossible to retrieve the stored data without the correct fingerprint to activate it. Even if the device is disassembled, it is not possible to retrieve the data stored on the internal chips.One of the 24 features that makes this device unique is that the fingerprint information never leaves the device. In all other units on the market, the fingerprint information is sent to the computer it is attached to for processing and is stored there.There are 23 other unique aspects to the Colby unit that are not available on any other unit on the market.
