Bloodborne Pathogens: Real, Real Life

Exosure to a bloodborne pathogen is a very real risk for anyone who comes into contact wth blood or other bodily fluids. In a new training program "Bloodborne Pathogens: Real, Real Life," humor is used to deliver a critical message. The program warns "Never assume someone is free of infection just because he or she doesn't show any signs of infection." Dangerous pathogens and the ways by which they may be transmitted in the workplace are identified and a sound plan for avoiding the transmission is formulatedin the Coastal Training Technologies program. The message is clear: treat all potential exposure the same and protect yourself.
