Autoband introduce a new illuminated display system for traffic control and enforcement. Simple, lightweight, and easy to install, the display allows every police vehicle to use the rear windshield as an illuminated display sign for messaging to oncoming motorists. Unlike older display products that need storing in the vehicle trunk, this new design can be permanently attached inside the vehicle and yet still allow drivers to retain 85% visibility through the rear windshield. Readable at a distance of up to 500 feet, the contents of the screen are fully programmable from a dashboard mounted Palm PDA and come with a variety of preset messages for ease of use.
