Vecta2 Direction Finder

When combined with another personal beacon, the Vecta2 Direction Finder from ACR Electronics can scan for and locate lost survivors or crew members (who are lost by land or sea) with pinpoint accuracy. Working on all accepted frequencies, the Vecta2's alert and locate system allows users to also monitor the 121.5-MHz band for use in emergency locating situations. Its Macro/Zoom dual scale, displays up to 255 units of signal strength and provides ultra-sensitive visual and audio (speaker amplifies the tone of a beacon down to -113dbm) interpretations of signal direction. Vecta2's rugged, weather-resistant; stainless steel body design features a user-friendly display with a large touch pad and a collapsible PCB antenna that operates at a training frequency of 121.775. The systems' two Lithium batteries provide up to 30-hours of continuous runtime, and unlimited operating life on either an AC or DC power supply.
