SE800 Laser

Aug. 20, 2007
Red aiming lasers (approximately 635nm wavelength) have proven their worth in tactical situations over the years, but there has been one shortfall in their use:  they are not visible very far in full sunlight. A.L.D. Co. Inc./De Nio Enterprises has contracted with S'E Advanced Systems to produce the "SE800,"  a 532nm wavelength laser that is bright while still being in the same eye safety class as conventional red lasers. This brilliant green laser is an effective tool for aiming a weapon. The SE800 is fully adjustable for point-of-impact, and contained in a durable aluminum housing 1 inch in diameter making for almost endless mounting options on conventional and less-lethal weapons. There are two controls for activation: a small toggle switch for constant-on, and a quick-disconnect cord with various remote pressure-switch options. The green dot is visible on most objects more than 50 yards away in full sunlight.
