“When I first came to TruckVault there was a clear need for us to find a way to deal with the increasing number of requests we were getting for donated product. We wanted to reply and help everyone with their fund raising requests but we obviously could not give away the volume of TruckVault requests for product that we were getting. So we hatched a plan to work with outdoor artist and TruckVault friend, Frank Hagel, to develop a print program. Each year we commission Frank to create a unique, one of a kind, limited edition print. From this original pencil drawing we print 200 copies and then have Frank sign and number them. They are then matted and framed and used to fulfill requests. Each print carries an approximate retail value of $400 and they go a long ways in helping organizations fund raise throughout the year. It’s a great way for us to give to some very good causes each and every year.” said Don Fenton, Sales & Marketing Director at TruckVault, Inc.
During its 7 year run TruckVault has donated to organizations both big and small. “We try and take care of everyone but to be honest there are some that get turned down because of the number of requests. Best thing to do is get your request in early!” said Fenton. Organizations such as the NWTF, DU, PF, Quail Unlimited, RMEF all place multiple requests with for prints annually. Monies generated at banquets and auctions all go to help fund projects throughout the year. Our latest estimates are that in 7 years we have helped folks raise over $300,000 through these donations.
