IROC Muzzle Device (IROC MD) Receives Perfect Score!

Jan. 29, 2015
Not only did the IROC MD pass the NTOA evaluation, it received 5/5 ratings.

Several months ago, the IROC Tactical team spent a day on the range with the National Tactical Officers Association (NTOA) Advanced Carbine Team testing our IROC MD. After a day of shooting, they recommended that our team start the process of becoming part of the NTOA Member Tested and Recommended Program (MTR), one of the most prestigious certifications a product like ours can achieve within the tactical community.

Not only did the IROC MD pass the evaluation, it received 5/5 ratings.  "This is a very rare occurrence..." - Katina - MTR Program Coordinator. The NTOA would not have recognized “just another” muzzle brake for this program, after they shot ours they knew that we have something to offer not seen in other devices. Part of it is the adjustability, which is a unique and patented feature of the IROC MD. Most importantly, they felt the difference that a massive reduction in blast over-pressure can have for their shooting and their long term hearing safety.

What does NTOA Member Tested and Recommended Program certification mean? It means that SWAT professionals from around the country put our device through every stress test, accuracy test, quality test and durability test they could imagine and the IROC MD didn't just survive....it thrived. It also means that the IROC Tactical mission of improving the occupational hearing safety of our tactical teams is acknowledged and shared by the NTOA.
