425, Inc. Personal Safety Products Light the Way to Safety

FORT WORTH, Texas – June 23, 2014 – For the thousands of sheriffs, other law enforcement and military personnel in attendance at this year’s National Sheriffs’ Association (NSA) Annual Conference & Exhibition, 425, Inc. will be featuring its Guardian Angel® product line – with new canine harness – in booth #1233 – designed to help increase the personal safety and security of EMT personnel as well as K9 units.

“The products we’re spotlighting at NSA this year reflect 425, Inc.’s business objective —to enhance the safety and security of law enforcement personnel and their canine colleagues when they’re on the job,” said Kevin Matte, police officer and co-founder of 425, Inc.  “We invite NSA attendees to come take a look at how our Guardian Angel device can address some of the law enforcement industry’s biggest challenges – such as helping to identify law enforcement personnel on roadways, at crime scenes or in larger crowds.”

As the first of its kind for the emergency responder industry, the Guardian Angel is a wearable (approximately 6 oz.) light bar, designed to provide the same visibility for the wearer as they have in their official vehicles.  New to this show, 425, Inc. will be unveiling its new Guardian Angel canine harness – another first for the industry – to help ensure the safety and security of K9 unit working dogs.

“We created the Guardian Angel to provide enhanced visibility for law enforcement,” said Juan Gomez, co-founder of 425, Inc., and inventor of the Guardian Angel.  “With our new canine harness, we will be able to respond to a need that’s been prevalent among our law enforcement customers for a long time – the ability to quickly identify K9 dogs as members of the police force, thereby affording them more protection while working.”
