Washington, D.C., October 23, 2012 — GLOCK, Inc. today presented a $400,000 donation to the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Fund (NLEOMF) in support of the development of the National Law Enforcement Museum. Last year, GLOCK committed to giving NLEOMF a total of $2 million over five years; this is GLOCK’s second installment of that plan. The donation was made at the National Law Enforcement Museum site in Washington, D.C.
“The National Law Enforcement Museum will honor the more than 900,000 sworn law enforcement officers serving our country, and also memorialize the many officers that have given their life in the line of duty. GLOCK is honored to give to this cause and support the law enforcement community that gives so much to protect our safety,” said GLOCK Vice President, Josh Dorsey.
The state-of-the-art institution will be located in the Judiciary Square neighborhood, adjacent to the existing National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial. Building and exhibit designs are being finalized, while precious artifacts that reflect the work of law enforcement, past and present, are being collected. Scheduled to open in 2015, the National Law Enforcement Museum will be the world's most comprehensive museum focusing on law enforcement.

The Young Marines promotes the mental, moral, and physical development of its members. The program focuses on character building, leadership, and promotes a healthy, drug-free lifestyle. The Young Marines is the focal point for the U.S. Marine Corps' Youth Drug Demand Reduction efforts.
