Bloomberg is an idiot, and you New Yorkers keep electing him? So who is the idiot really?

FSP..you obviously know nothing about Police work and even less about New York. Do you have any idea how many cars are connected to a subway? To open all the doors while looking for a crazed lunatic would have been utter chaos. I'll tell you what, if you ever visit New York, go to Times Square and take a look around and try and count the number of people you see, then go to your nearest subway station and do the same, the number will be almost similar. New York is a VERY BUSY place and the NYPD made the right decision. Lucky for him, he dropped the knife.

P.S. I was one of the idiots that voted him in..

Bloomberg
Bloomberg, George Soros, Bill Clinton, Barack Hussein Obama, Ted Kennedy, et al. are all traitors. They do not uphold the Constitution, especially the 2nd Amendment, which is the only one that guarantees the others. There will be armed revolutions in the future against a tyrannical government. I hope I am retired in the backwoods of nowhere when it hits the fan.

Drifted off topic, but...

You know, Callahan in Arkansas , the truth hurts and you will be condemned on these pages, by some, as a nut job. Your prophecy should actually be pondered by those who have sworn 'to protect and serve', because they will then need to decide where they stand: liberty vs tyranny; protect whom vs serve whom?

Callahan, you goof. Obama has not once proposed any tougher gun laws since being president! In fact, the Obama administration went to bat for former President Bush by defending his last-minute rule allowing loaded guns in national parks. Stop listening to the anti-Obama rhetoric.

Me: keep blaming the inaminate object. It's so much easier. As to those youths in Chicago, a horrible thing, I agree, but it's a safe bet they weren't murdered by responsible people who legally owned those handguns.

Look, the NYPD got the guy. Had those doors opened, the suspect would have blended in and disappeared all too easily. Seems to me that they must have made the right call. I don't have a subway where I work, but I have been to NYC and rode the subways enough times to know that it is hectic around there. The suspect had dropped the knife before the train got moving again, so by the time the police even had an opportunity to get on the train and arrest the guy, the threat had been taken away. HE DIDN"T HAVE THE KNIFE ANYMORE! I am surprised to see that Bloomberg took the side of the NYPD, since it is inherent in all politicians to take the side of their constituency, no matter how ridiculous the allegations are. Nice job NYPD. Keep up the good work.

Unless you have patrolled the N.Y. subways the way the NYPD has for about 100 yrs., keep your ignorant opinions to yourself. They have only dealt with this type of situaion thousands of times and trained for this thousands more.
The NYPD knows the subways better than you morons.
Next, we have to hear from the family that he was a great guy, a family man, fed the homeless and helped old ladies across the street.
It's really getting old.
Someone knew he was a wack job and ignoreed it and this is what happened.

Happy Thanksgiving to all me fellow LEO'S and Stay Safe.

Oh Yeah, he was a great guy that just snapped. Oh, he was on pain medication so that must have caused him to murder!?!? This country justice system is a joke. I guess we will now spend a million dollars on this trashes trial, and at that trial we can bring in a team of Doctors to explain how the pain med's caused him to murder!!! We need some serious overhauling of the criminal justice system!!!!
