What an idiot. Sounds like he doesn't need to be police.

It looks like he was more-so fired for lying about the incident than the incident itself. Either way, ice cream (or any "hook-up") isnt worth your career.

These guys are really starting to piss me off making all of us look bad. I am really getting sick of this. Idiots like this guy is why we are losing respect from the public.

Good Riddins!! Guys like these we don't need, kudos on the department making the right move on this idiot.

He can get a job and go mooch somewhere else!

BTW, I don't take free coffee, food or discounts of any kind. I always thank them but politely refuse. It is not right nor in character to take something for free because of a job.

I don't gripe about others doing it but for me I again, politely say no thank you.

Thanks for firing him. One less dumb-dumb on the job to make the rest of us look bad.

What a knob. The guys was a cop for a whole two years, and he has already managed to make all cops look bad. I don't have any problem with the free coffee. Our gas station clerks give complementary coffee to all their regulars. I always make sure I buys something to go with it, and I couldn't ever imagine asking for something that wasn't offered.

I don't mind the comp cup of coffee every once in awhile. It should never be a given. I always walk to the counter and buy a candy bar or some snuff when I get coffee. If they charge me for it fine if not oh well. I thank them and drink it there. I think this guy is a jackhole. Seriously, its not like you flip burgers at McD's for minimum wage (Well Now maybe you do...lol). You can afford two scoops of ice cream. The cup of coffee is a strange beast. I remember I was going to buy a rifle from a local gun shop the guy quoted me a great deal then he made a comment "I don't mind hooking yall up but next time you catch me speeding maybe you can hook me up." Now I am sure he said it as a joke dude can afford a ticket. And even if I did stop him I could be leinant but that comment broke the deal. I ended up going somewhere else and paying 300 dollars more for the same rifle. No strings.

Free Ice Cream
Posted by ME.... That is the most rediculous thing that I have ever heard. U paid 300 more? That is just as dumb as ASKING for free ice cream. If the owner wants to give me it for free than I accept. I never expect. Does the Pizza shop make his kids pay for pizza? if he does should go somewhere else and pay more? Think about what you said. I tell you what is embarasing is when you have a PROFFESSIONAL doing his job and he looks good walks up to the call and has a mouthful of SNUFF.
