Coast law enforcement saw a morning wreck in Harrison County involving the patrol car of a deputy with the Harrison County Sheriff's Department and an evening armed robbery at a store in Moss Point on Sunday.

Harrison County Sheriff Melvin Brisolara said Sunday night that the wreck involving a deputy and a patrol car occurred in Harrison County near Gulfport before noon.

A woman in the other car involved in the accident was taken to a nearby hospital.

In Moss Point, the Family Dollar Store near Main and Jefferson streets was robbed at about 7:15 p.m. Sunday, a city police detective said.

Moss Point police said it was an armed robbery, but had few details late Sunday. Jefferson Street is the dividing line between Moss Point and Pascagoula. Pascagoula police also responded.
