Four Philadelphia Police Officers Injured After Cruisers Collide

One officer suffered a head injury and was taken to Temple Hospital in stable condition while the other three officers were treated at the scene.

Four Philadelphia police officer were injured after two cruisers collided while responding to a reported shooting Friday morning.

The officers were en route to the call when the two SUVs crash on D Street and Indiana Avenue around 10:15 a.m., according to KYW-TV.

One of the SUVs struck an electric pole before crashing into the side of a home.

One officer suffered a head injury and was taken to Temple Hospital in stable condition while the other three officers were treated at the scene.

None of the injuries are considered to be life-threatening.

SEPTA police arrested a suspect in the shooting near Kensington and East Allegheny Avenues.

Officers from the Accident Investigative District are investigating what caused the crash.
