A Sulphur police officer and an Oklahoma Highway Patrol trooper were shot Monday during a standoff.
Sulphur officers were responded to reports of a woman who barricaded herself inside a business around 3 p.m., according to The Oklahoman.
State troopers arrived at the scene to assist and about five hours into the standoff, the woman opened fire on the officers, striking the officer and trooper.
Officers fired back, hitting the woman multiple times.
The woman was taken by helicopter to an Oklahoma City hospital for treatment.
The officers were both treated at the Arbuckle Memorial Hospital in Sulphur for non life-threatening injuries.
The incident is currently under investigation.
