A who turned up naked and angry at an Oregon hemp expo had to be sedated before being thrown in jail.

A 27-year old man from Grants Pass who turned up naked and angry at a hemp expo on Sunday in Josephine County had to be sedated before being thrown in jail, police said.

Police were dispatched Sunday about 12:30 a.m. to the expo in Provolt on a report of a man fighting with people and bashing in cars in the parking lot. When two troopers arrived, four men were holding down the man, identified as Timothy A. Seaux. He had heavily damaged a vehicle with two terrified women inside, they said.

In custody, Seaux kneed and kicked one of the troopers several times, police said. Troopers managed to wrestle him into the back of a patrol car where he was thrashing around, kicking violently, they said.

Medical personnel who arrived on the scene sedated him so he could be transported to Asante Three Rivers Medical Center in Grants Pass. In the morning, he was lodged in Josephine County jail on four allegations, including menacing, assaulting a police officer and resisting arrest.
