Canada Constable Suffers Fatal Heart Attack

Thunder Bay Constable Joseph Prevett fell ill while training alongside his new K-9 earlier this week.

A K-9 officer with the Thunder Bay Police Service in Ontario, Canada suffered a fatal heart attack during a training session earlier this week.

Constable Joseph Prevett was training alongside his new police dog named Timber in Gravenhurst when he fell ill, according to TBNewsWatch.com.

Prevett was transported to South Muskoka Memorial Hospital in Bracebridge, where he died on Wednesday.

Funeral Arrangements

An officers march is slated for May 15 at 10:15 a.m. to St. Patrick's Cathedral at 211 Archibald Street where a funeral mass will be held at 11 a.m.
