Pennsylvania Police Officer Suffers Fatal Heart Attack

Delaware County Courthouse and Park Police Officer Edward Wehe suffered a heart attack last week.

 A Delaware County, Pa. Courthouse and Park Police Department officer died after suffering a heart attack following a response last week.

Officer Edward A. Wehe III fell ill approximately 20 minutes after clearing the scene of a protest at the county prison on Nov. 5, according to the Delaware County Fraternal Order of Police Lodge 27

CPR was administered by responders, but attempts to revive him were unsuccessful.

The 57-year-old was also employed as a part-time Marcus Hook police officer and was a 21-year veteran of the U.S. Navy.

He is survived by his fiancé, daughter and granddaughter.
