Calif. Deputies Pull People Out of Burning Home

Several people are safe after being pulled from a burning home Thursday night.

The ordeal began around 9:00 p.m. when San Diego Sheriff deputies got a call about a medical marijuana robbery near a home in the 3700 block of Polaris Drive in Spring Valley and thought a possible suspect ran into the house.

A fire broke out in the kitchen of the house, trapping some of the residents on the second floor.

Deputies had to break windows to get the people out.

Eleven people were living in the home.

One person was treated for smoke inhalation.
