Calif. Police Cruiser Crashes Into Gas Station

An Oceanside police cruiser crashed into the front of a gas station on Saturday morning.

OCEANSIDE, Calif. --

An Oceanside police cruiser crashed into the front of a gas station on Saturday morning.

The incident occurred at about 7 a.m. at the Mohsen gas station in the 3200 block of Mission Avenue.

Susana Arabshahi, the gas station owner, told 10News that another vehicle entered the police cruiser's lane on Mission Avenue.

Arabshahi said that caused the officer to swerve and lose control of the cruiser. The police cruiser then hit a car at a gas pump before coming to a stop inside the front of gas station.

Oceanside police would not confirm any details about the incident.

No injuries were reported.
