CINCINNATI --
The vice mayor of Lincoln Heights was arrested after an incident late Tuesday.
Prosecutors said Gary Brown assaulted a police officer on Van Buren Avenue.
Few details about the incident have been released. Hamilton County dispatchers issued a call for assistance for an officer on Van Buren Avenue just before 10 p.m. on Tuesday. Dispatchers said that the original call entailed dealing with someone who would not exit a residence.
Lincoln Heights police said just before 11 p.m. that they had arrested four people, but were too busy dealing with them to discuss the arrests or identify those arrested.
Brown was charged with assault and ordered held on $5,000 bond.
